2019 GMC Sierra AT4 Gets New Off-Road Performance Package

By Justin Cupler | December 26th, 2018

The 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 gained a new off-road prowess with the debut of its AT4 model. Among other off-road updates, this rugged truck included a 2-inch factory lift, standard four-wheel drive, Rancho off-road shocks, hill-descent control, and Traction Select System. Now, GMC will take the Sierra AT4 a step further with a new Off-Road Performance Package.

The AT4 Off-Road Performance Package will add a 6.2-liter V-8 engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, 18-inch machined-aluminum wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, a cat-back performance exhaust system, and a performance intake system.

When GMC calls this a “performance” package, it’s not just lip service either. This package pushes the 6.2-liter engine to 435 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque, which are increases of 15 horsepower and 9 pound-feet relative to the Sierra with the 6.2-liter engine.

The GMC Sierra AT4 Performance Package adds $4,940 to the base AT4 price. That brings its total package price to $58,140.

The 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 and its available Performance Off-Road Package are available now at Garber Buick GMC.
