The engineering and design teams listened to their toughest audience, you, and crafted a truck that meets discerning GMC customers’ preferences of. Don’t just finish a job; crush it in style with the new Sierra Elevation.

Design

Just like the Denali, AT4, and SLT, GMC built the 2019 Sierra Elevation for strength and capability on a firm foundation and with bodywork that incorporates chiseled fenders, a tall and powerful hood, and a bigger and bolder grille than any previous Sierra. You’ll look sharp and get longer, sleeker lines along with body-color door handles, bumpers, and grill surround. Commanding black accents offer a more rugged feel, highlighting the grille insert, tow hooks, side-window trim and 20-inch aluminum wheels.

“The 2019 Sierra Elevation conveys a youthful, athletic presence that demonstrates GMC’s tailored approach,” said Rich Latek, GMC marketing director. “With inherent truck capabilities and functionality, Elevation is able to take you off the beaten path along with your gear while standing out from the pack.”

Brighten your look on the GMC Sierra Elevation with new advanced lighting technology. The new high-intensity LED headlamps that incorporate C-shaped light blade signature lighting elements, LED fog lamps, and C-shaped LED elements within the taillights are all standard.

Capability

The Sierra Elevation is based on the double-cab model and comes in two- or four-wheel drive. The next-generation double cab has nearly 3 inches of additional rear-seat legroom compared to the current model and best-in-class front head- and legroom.

With a quick twist of the Traction Select System dial, you can control the truck’s behavior when you choose from preset modes designed for distinct purposes or conditions. When you select one of these modes, the truck adjusts transmission shift points, throttle mapping, and other systems to optimize performance for varying conditions. Take the Sierra off-roading with the Terrain mode, or cruise through your daily drive in Tour mode; the choice is yours.

Trailer with confidence with built-in features to make towing and hauling a breeze. Whether you’re towing a camper or boat, GMC designed the 2019 Sierra Elevation ease the process. The 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation comes with an all-new 2.7-liter turbocharged engine that produces 310 horsepower adn 348 pound-feet of torque, and pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. While that’s a good start, you can upgrade to an even heftier engine option that gives you more power when you need it.

This engine will work in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission and uses a new Dynamic Fuel Management system that allows the engine to operate on one to eight cylinders, depending on demand, to optimize power and efficiency.

But if that’s still not enough torque to get your motor going, GMC will also offer the 2019 Sierra Elevation with a new 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline six-cylinder engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission later in its production schedule. This workhorse will be your best option for getting work done on the farm, job site, and around town.
